In today’s video, I’m walking you through the early phases of a new client renovation project — from consultation to concept development and floor planning — all using Coohom’s 3D interior design software.

I’ve shared a video in the past about my overall interior design process, but that was more of a wide-lens overview. Today, I’m diving deeper into the early design work — giving you a more detailed look at how I begin transforming a space and building a clear plan for renovation. If you’re working on your own home or helping someone else with theirs, I hope this gives you a helpful framework and some creative inspiration.

This project is also a big step forward in my career as a designer. It’s the first time I’ll be working directly with contractors — rather than just providing drawings and documents — and I’m excited to bring you along for the experience! I'm using Coohom to create floor plans, elevations, and photorealistic renderings that help communicate the design clearly to both the client and the construction team bringing it to life.
