Easy DIYs for a Spring Reset | DIY Art Framing & Matting + Updating my Curtains

After two weeks of travel and working on my new garden bed project, I needed a slower pace this week. So I focused on the little projects that have been quietly waiting for attention—ones that can make your home feel so much more finished without a ton of effort.

In this video, I tackle:
• DIY matting for a thrifted art print
• Removing varnish and creating a custom wood frame for a client’s canvas
• Updating my curtains with a triple pinch pleat header and hemming them to the perfect length

Sometimes, it’s these small, annoying tasks that bring the most relief once they’re done. This week felt like a much-needed spring reset before diving back into bigger renovations.

What tasks have you been putting off in your home?
